Celebrate family and inclusion at Central Library’s Family Pride Celebration from 1-3pm.

Library staff will lead a story time featuring a variety of inclusive stories, followed by different craft activities for kids of all ages. Crafts include making pony bead bracelets, painting rocks, making fruit loop rainbows, among other colorful activities.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusivity and celebrating diversity, Spokane Public Library is thrilled to offer a Family Pride Celebration for youth and their caregivers,” said Denise Neujahr, Youth Services Manager. “This event is an opportunity to come together and have fun with a variety of crafts, books, snacks, and games. We believe in the power of community and the importance of creating a space where everyone feels welcome and belongs.”

Spokane Public Library is hosting the Family Pride Celebration in honor of Pride Month, celebrating the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

This free library event is intended for families and caregivers with children ages 0 to 18. No registration is required.
