Congressman Chabot endorsed by America’s Leading Voice for Small Businesses

Congressman Steve Chabot’s campaign released the following statement on the campaign’s recent endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB):

“I am honored to once again receive the confidence and endorsement of the nation’s leading voice for small businesses,” said Congressman Chabot. “I’m proud of my track record of working with Republicans and Democrats to deliver results for our small businesses and will continue fighting every day to tackle the unprecedented challenges they face, including record inflation, supply chain pressures, labor shortages, soaring energy costs and more.”

“I’ve advanced bipartisan solutions to lower energy costs, introduced policies to address the supply chain crisis, fought for better trade deals for American businesses and worked to be a champion for small businesses,” Chabot continued. “I look forward to continuing to be a champion for the prosperity and success of our small businesses and the families and communities they support.”

“With rampant inflation, massive supply chain disruptions, ever-changing pandemic guidance and a shortage of available workers, small businesses continue to face challenges and setbacks,” NFIB Senior National Political Director Sharon Sussin said in a letter announcing the endorsement. “It’s vital that our members can count on candidates like you who will focus on solutions to help the small business recovery.”

This Week’s Blog - "100 Days"

There's just under 100 days left until the 2022 midterms. In this week's blog Congressman Chabot lays out the problems Democrats have caused and how a Republican majority will solve them:

"Instead of inflation-causing Democrat policies, we ought to be, in my view, doing the following: reining in the out-of-control spending; encouraging energy production and energy independence once again; ending global COVID restrictions; encouraging, not discouraging through excessive unemployment payments, people going back to work; aggressively dealing with our broken supply chain; cutting taxes; and reducing, not increasing, regulations."
