Indianapolis, IN - Chairwoman Anne Hathaway released the following statement on President Joe Biden's State of the Union Address:

"Tonight marks a deeply bittersweet moment for our country. While there is relief in the likelihood that this could be President Biden's final State of the Union Address, it's undeniable that the journey to this point has been incredibly challenging for the United States.

"In his speech this evening, we unfortunately heard more of the same from the President. He continued to blame others for his failed leadership and he has proven to be ineffective at addressing the serious problems that continue to plague this great country. The facts remain that when President Biden took office in 2021, he promised to bring the country together to solve issues with the economy, public safety, our southern border, foreign policy, and more. And he has failed at every turn.

"Hoosier Republicans are energized and ready to work together to elect a new president in 2024."
