Celebrating a Transformative Season

This season, we celebrated the Hungry Ghost Festival, a vibrant month-long event embodying our mission to uplift neighborhood identity through creativity and community engagement.

We also invited you to explore the opening of 'Present Tense: Perilous Playground,' our latest exhibition sparking dialogues on urban issues.

Lastly, we marked 58 years of uplifting community voice at our Harmony & Bliss Gala: Electric Encounters, showcasing the transformative power of the arts.

These events are part of our ongoing journey to provide artists opportunities for meaningful community engagement and amplify diverse voices through art and creativity, and your continued support makes it all possible.

2023 Chinatown Hungry Ghost Festival

Reflecting on the Hungry Ghost Festival, we're proud of how it resonated with our mission to uplift neighborhood identity through creativity and community engagement. Your support and presence at the Hungry Ghost Festival empowers us to continue uniting diverse communities through art.

Present Tense 2023: Perilous Playground

Present Tense: Perilous Playground is now open!

Presented by CCC and guest curated by C&G Artpartment, local and international multidisciplinary artists address urban development and present works that reflect on systemic power, exclusionary development and policies, and people’s unruly interventions.

Come visit the exhibition in person at CCC!
