The Household Hazardous Waste program is sponsoring a free one-day event in Albany on Sunday, July 31 for residents of Alameda County. Please note that mattresses will not be accepted at this event. 

Appointments are required in order to keep a steady flow of traffic. Space is limited, so please register early to guarantee that you get an appointment.

If you are unable to get an appointment, there will be a second drop off event in Albany in October (date to be determined). You can always drop off HHW for free at one of the County's drop-off centers. Learn more at StopWaste's website.
