Temporary Seasonal 

Cemetery, Parks & Recreation Department                        

The City of Athens is accepting applications for part-time temporary positions.  

- Part-time Temporary only.  No Benefits  
- Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application
- Valid driver's license or ID
- Pay Rate:  $9.50 per hour
- Up to 29 hours per week/58 hours per pay period

Scorekeepers: 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:  basic math skills, ability to keep score, knowledge of softball, baseball, and basketball rules and regulations. (Expected hours of work: early afternoon – early/late evening).  

Concession Stand Workers:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:   basic math skills, ability to handle and count money, good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, ability to handle customers professionally and courteously. (Expected hours of work: early afternoon – early/late evening)
