Community Services Facility Aide

General Statement of Duties
Coordinates and assists with customer service support for the operations of an assigned Community Services facility.

Distinguishing Features of the Class
The principal function of an employee in this class is to serve as the Community Services Department’s representative at Community Services facilities to ensure compliance with all program guidelines and safety requirements.  The work is performed under the supervision of the Community Services Director but some leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgement and initiative. An employee in this class performs the duties of other employees in the Community Services Department as required or as assigned by supervisory personnel.  The principal duties of this class are performed in community center settings, including recreation, fitness center, and programs.  Work is performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in hot, cold or inclement weather.
