Azle has two new Council Members

On May 17, Azle City Council swore in two new council members, Derrick Nelson, Place 1, and Amy Estes, Place 2. They each will serve a two-year term.

Also sworn in for another two-year term was Rouel Rothenberger, Place 5. Councilmember Rothenberger has served the city since 2006.

They join Mayor Alan Brundrett, Mayor Pro-tem Randa Goode, Councilmember Stacy Peek and Councilmember Brian Conner as members of the Azle City Council.

Council presented outgoing Mayor Pro-tem David McClure and Councilmember Corey Wynns with plaques in appreciation for their years of service.

City Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm at Azle City Hall, 505 W. Main Street. Council agendas are posted on the outside bulletin board at City Hall and on the City website the Friday before the meeting.
