From: City Of AzleNational Animal Shelter Appreciation Week is November 6–12. The Humane Society of the United States founded National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week in 1996 to acknowledge and appreciate the role of animal shelters in communities all over the country. This annual event also serves to acknowledge the hard-working people who work to support the shelters and help keep the pets healthy.
Local shelters, like the Azle Animal Shelter, are great at finding new homes for homeless pets, rescuing injured or abused animals, and reuniting lost pets with their original families.Animal Shelter Appreciation Week2022.jpg
Mayor Alan Brundrett and the Azle City Council recently presented the Azle Animal Shelter Staff and volunteers with a proclamation recognizing their hard work and dedication to providing a safe haven for lost and abandoned animals in Azle. The City of Azle is proud of this dedicated staff!
Let the Azle Animal Shelter Staff know how much you appreciate the very important work they are doing with our furry friends!
