Bentonville, Ark – Award-winning author Suzanne Woods Fisher is partnering with Bentonville Public Library (BPL) to celebrate the release of her new book The Moonlight School on Saturday, October 29. The morning is sponsored by the Friends of the Bentonville Library.

BPL will host Fisher for A Morning with Suzanne Woods Fisher. There will be 2 (two) events that morning, one at 10AM and the other at 11AM. At 10AM, A Special Book Club Meet & Greet will include an intimate Q&A session with Fisher in the Rotary Conference Room. Copies of The Moonlight School will be provided, free, to 30 (thirty) registrants and will be available on the morning of the event. Advance online registration is required and limited at bentonvillelibrary.org. When the 10AM event is full, a waitlist will be generated for this session. 

At 11AM, the Community Event with Sale and Signing will be in the Walmart Community Room. Fisher will present a talk on her new book followed by a short Q&A. During the event, copies of The Moonlight School will be given away to a few lucky attendees. Registration is not required for this event. 

After, Fisher will sit for book signings and photos in the Fireplace Room. Two Friends will facilitate book sales inside the Library. Fisher’s books The Moonlight School, The Sweet Life, Anything but Plain, and A Season on the Wind will be available for purchase. Readers can also order The Moonlight School at twofriendsbooks.com. A portion of sales benefit the Library.

Fisher has written over thirty books in many genres, including non-fiction, historical fiction, women’s romance and children’s. She previously freelanced for magazines like Christian Parenting Today and Marriage Partnership. Her first novel, Amish Peace for a Complicated World, became an ECPA Book of the Year finalist. The Moonlight School made the ECPA Fiction Bestseller List in March 2021.
