The City is hosting a Career Fair on Fri., March 3 (9 am - 5 pm) & Sat., March 4 (10 am - 2 pm) at the Arts & Cultural Ctr. (125 E. Ocean Ave.). Qualified applicants will be interviewed on the spot. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register online, but walk-ins are accepted. If an applicant meets a position’s qualifications, successfully completes the interview, and passes the position practical (if applicable), the applicant may leave the job fair with a conditional offer of employment.

The Let’s Move: Commit to Change Physical Activity Challenge is a county-wide initiative that focuses on physical activity, nutrition and healthy behaviors throughout the month of March. Register to participate, track your physical activity and help the City of Boynton Beach team win! Exercise on your own or join one of the many classes and leagues offered through the City's Recreation & Parks Department

Moving...

.. dancing counts! This Fri., March 3, the City will host the Valerie Tyson Band at our First Friday @ 5 concert at Centennial Park & Amphitheater (120 E. Ocean Ave.) in Downtown Boynton.

This free, family-friendly event begins at 5 pm and includes food trucks, children's activities and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. An ASL interpreter will be provided.

PAL All-Star
Team Tryouts

The Boynton Beach PAL Basketball Program is hosting All-Star Team tryouts on Fri, March 3 (6-9 pm) at the Ezell Hester, Jr. Comm. Ctr. (1901 N. Seacrest Blvd.). The top young men (ages 17-19) will be selected to compete in the Necelina McDonald Memorial Foundation tournament in Brooklyn, New York this April. There is no cost to tryout or participate in the program; expenses will be covered by the league’s sponsors. No tryout pre-registration is required. Learn more.

Pickleball Courts
Grand Opening

The Pickleball Courts Grand Opening Event, originally scheduled for last month but rescheduled due to inclement weather, will take place on Sat., March 4 (10 am - 12 pm) at Barrier Free Park (3111 S. Congress). This free, family-friendly event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an exhibition match between Boynton Beach City Commission members and the City Manager's team, pickleball clinics, refreshments, music and more. Free commemorative sport towels provided to the first 50 attendees.

Development
Upgrades

The City’s Planning & Zoning Division has launched a new development services platform that allows customers to fully submit and track development applications online. The new platform is run through the City's existing SagesGov software, and will improve and streamline the existing development application processes with the elimination of paper submittals. It also allows for customers to conduct business 24/7/365 without a trip to City Hall. Learn more.

Free Tax
Prep Assistance

AARP Tax-Aide will be providing free tax preparation assistance for individuals of all ages on Mon. - Wed. mornings (8:30 am - 12 pm) at the Boynton Beach Senior Center (1021 S Federal Hwy.) on a walk-in basis through April 12.

Senior Center membership is not required.

The 2023 City of Boynton Beach Municipal Election will take place on Tues., March 14. Please note that only registered voters residing in Districts 2 and 4 are eligible to vote in this upcoming election. Polls will be open from 7 am - 7 pm. Find your voting precinct.
