From: City Of Boynton BeachThe Boynton Beach Police Department is fundraising for the American Cancer Society (ACS) throughout October to support Breast Cancer research. On Sat., Oct. 15, "Team BBPD" participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser walk and raised $922. In addition, they are selling “Real Cops Wear Pink” T-shirts throughout the month; all proceeds will be donated to the ACS. Notice of Public Hearing
Several proposed ordinances were read on first reading at the regular Oct. 18, 2022 City Commission meeting. The ordinances include numbers 22-017, 22-019, 22-020, 22-021 and 22-023.
These will be read for second and final reading at the Nov. 1, 2022 City Commission meeting. Interested parties may participate in the public hearings and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. Learn more.

Tire Amnesty Week
Tire Amnesty Week will be held beginning on Mon., Oct. 31 through Fri., Nov. 4.
The City will pick-up and discard unwanted tires on residents’ regularly scheduled bulk trash day for free. Place tires at the curb for pick-up after 6 pm the day before pick-up or by 6 am on pick-up day.

The General Election is on Tues., Nov. 8, 2022. Find your assigned election day polling location. For those wishing to vote early, please take note:
-Early Voting Hours: 7 am - 7 pm
-Early Voting Dates: Oct. 24 - Nov. 6
The Ezell Hester, Jr. Ctr. is one of 17 early voting locations.
Walk-ins are welcome, or, new this year - voters may make an appt. to early vote.

Veteran's Day Ceremony
On Friday, Nov. 11 (11 am) at Tom Kaiser, USN, Boynton Beach Veterans Memorial Park (411 N Federal Hwy.), the City, alongside the Boynton Beach Veterans, will honor all those who have given of themselves to serve our great country at a Veterans Day Ceremony.

Coming Soon: Friday Flicks
Grab your blanket and chairs and head to Centennial Park (120 E. Ocean Ave.) for Friday Flicks. Happening on the third Friday of each month (5 pm - 8 pm) in Nov., Dec., Jan. & Feb., the City will host these free outdoor movies under the historic Banyan trees in #DowntownBoynton.
Food trucks will be on site and children's activities will be provided before the movies begin. The events start at 5 pm, and movies will begin at sundown. Please take note of the movie titles and dates below. Additional details can be found online.

Oceanfront "Bark"
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to "PAW-TY" on Oceanfront Park Beach on Sat., Nov. 19 from 9 am - 12 pm. Dogs will be allowed off leash in a designated fenced area. Parking fees waived during event.
Dogs must be appropriately licensed. Mark your calendar - future "Oceanfront Bark" event dates include Dec. 17, Jan. 21 and Feb. 18.
