Workforce News

Many organizations are facing the same concern and struggling to fill open positions. While this is critical to your success, developing a retention strategy for your current employees is equally important. As much as you invest in onboarding new hires, make the same investment in your existing staff. Look for ways to grow, celebrate and engage with them as often as possible. If you are looking for ways to achieve this goal, call me and I will be glad to assist.

ADOT I-10 Widening Project updates

The new traffic interchange at Miller Road is officially open! Diverging diamonds have grown in popularity across the country and are designed to limit traffic conflict points and crashes. Check out this animation from ADOT on how it all works.

Work on the Watson Road Interchange is now underway. Watson Road will be reduced to one lane underneath the I-10 bridge until mid September so crews can start working on the new bridge.

Visit the ADOT project page for further traffic information.

If you missed the May Chamber ADOT meeting you can access the presentations here. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 8 a.m. in the Buckeye City Council Chambers, 530 E. Monroe Ave. Join us in person or on Zoom for a chance to talk to an ADOT representative about the widening project.
