Attraction is Key

In today’s multi-generational workforce, attraction is a key aspect of engaging job-seekers. As your organization heads into the new year, I would like to encourage you to consider adapting new and creative ways to attract your workforce.

Here are a few concepts to consider:

-Offering flexible schedules and include a part time option.

-Providing on-going training and advancement opportunities.

-Tuition reimbursement or tuition pay down.

-Redefining current job roles and positions.

As you consider these concepts, do not forget about your current staff. While attraction is a key factor of any workforce strategy, retention is just as important. Strive to make your organization a “Best In Class” workspace where it appeals to new hires but also remains attractive to current employees. If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to me. I hope you have a great holiday season!
