Buckeye Air Fair Cleared For Takeoff Feb. 17-19

The Buckeye Air Fair returns for a weekend of high-flying fun, Feb. 17-19 at the Buckeye Municipal Airport, 3000 S. Palo Verde Road.

This year’s event features 2.5-hour action packed airshows, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Fly-In, Aviation Academy and a VIP experience for a front row view of the airshow.

Other family activities include hundreds of pilots from around the western U.S. showcasing their unique aircraft, historic and military static aircraft displays, great food, vendors and a Kid’s Zone.

Gates open at 9 a.m. each day. Admission is free. Parking passes are $10 if purchased online, in advance. Parking is $15 the day of the event. Credit Cards only.

Awe-Inspiring Airshows

Eight of the best aerial acts in the country will take to the Buckeye skies to put on two incredible airshows:

-Saturday, Feb. 18 from 2:30 - 5 p.m.

-Sunday, Feb. 19 from 1:30 - 4 p.m.

The VIP Experience lets you catch all the high-flying action with the best seat in the house, all day refreshments, private restrooms and VIP Parking. $60 per person for one day, $85 for a two-day pass

Buckeye Air Fair Volunteers

Get a front row seat to the action at the 2023 Buckeye Air Fair and make it the best event yet! Buckeye’s Community Services Department is looking for volunteers Feb. 17 through 19 to help with a variety of positions.

This is a fun way to be part of this great event that attracts thousands of visitors from around the area to Buckeye. Plus, you’ll meet new people, earn volunteer credit hours and receive a free lunch.

Aviation Academy

Buckeye Air Fair Aviation Academy is aimed to inspire the next generation of aviation career seekers with three days of events:

Field Trip Friday - Friday, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Register your 5th through 12th grade students to explore aviation through hands on activities, booths and guest speakers

SciTech Saturday - Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Explore aviation related STEAM with engaging booths and activities

Flight School Sunday - Sunday, Feb. 19 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Learn the basics about flying and practice what you learn on flight simulators
