I-10 and Watson Road Ramp Closures

The westbound I-10 on and off-ramps at Watson Road will close, beginning 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, through mid-November. Please use Miller Road as a detour.

In addition, the following I-10 lane restrictions will be in place this weekend:

- Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane near Watson Road from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.

- East and westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between Watson Road and Verrado Way from 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.

82nd Annual Halloween Carnival

Buckeye’s 82nd Annual Halloween Carnival returns to Monroe Avenue in Downtown Buckeye on Saturday Oct. 29, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Enjoy exciting carnival games, bingo, cake walk, trunk-or-treat, food and much more! All booths and games are put on by local nonprofits with all proceeds going back to the organizations.

If your nonprofit organization is interested in becoming a vendor or you'd like to volunteer for the event, sign up at buckeyeaz.gov/halloweencarnival.

Library Master Plan Meetings

Be in the Know! The Buckeye Public Library is developing a Master Plan to better serve our growing community. You are invited to participate in one of five community focus groups to share your thoughts on how you envision the future of the library.

The first meeting is Monday, Oct. 17 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Coyote Library.

Polls are open!

Buckeye City Hall is open for in person voting and ballot drop off at 530 E. Monroe Ave with hours from Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Buckeye Fire Station 704 is also open for in person voting and ballot drop off at 27360 Wagner Complex Drive with hours from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
