Labor Day Closures

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, all city offices, libraries and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 5. Regular business hours will resume at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6.

Trash and recycling services are not affected by this closure. Residents with service scheduled for Monday should place their containers on the street before 5:30 a.m.

Buckeye Fire Dept. Strategic Plan

Buckeye Fire launched a strategic planning process and now needs your help to achieve their goals. Your views and insights regarding services and staff will help them meet the needs of the community that they serve every day.

Buckeye Fire is inviting all residents to participate in one of two hour-long virtual meetings:

-September 13 | 10 a.m.

-September 14 | 4 pm.

Catalyst Program Accepting Applications

The Catalyst Program is a redevelopment program designed to attract private investment in Buckeye through the rehabilitation of existing buildings. Through the program businesses and investors can qualify for up to $50,000 of reimbursable funding to support their development. Ideal projects include those that focus on an Economic Development purpose and serve a public benefit.

The Guide is the first of its kind for our region, ensuring Buckeye is balancing its fast-paced growth with our natural desert habitat.
