Due to the high volume and popularity of several recreation programs, the City of Davis Parks and Community Services Department (PCS) announced today that a survey for residents to select their preferred registration methods is now open and will close on December 9, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.

PCS periodically conducts surveys to assess current practices and identify possible areas for improvement to ensure they are meeting the needs and desires of Davis residents. The last survey to assess the registration process for recreation programs was completed in April 2015, indicating that first-come, first-served was the preferred method. 

Survey results will help to inform registration methodologies moving forward and will be shared publicly on the PCS webpage and social media channels. Any changes will be implemented with the Summer 2023 Rec Guide registration. The survey is available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RecreationRegistrationSurvey.
