CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

As we celebrate Black History Month, recognizing the heritage, culture, and accomplishments of African Americans, the City of Diamond Bar also joins in this celebration by honoring those who have paved the way for a brighter future.

In addition to honoring the past, the City is dedicated to maintaining its status as one of the most beautiful and livable communities in the region by providing top-quality services. By working together, we can ensure that our community remains well-kept for generations to come, as each of us plays an important role in its care.

To that end, there are a number of resources available should you see a need addressed. If you are out in the community and see graffiti, please report it by calling our 24-hour hotline at 800-794-7384. If you come across abandoned shopping carts, you may report them by calling 800-252-4613 or through the City website. Additionally, if you are looking to clean up around your own home or place of business, please remember Waste Management (single family residential) and Valley Vista Services (commercial and multi-family) offer a wide variety of services to meet your needs, including bulky item pickups and electronic waste.

Lastly, the City sponsored LA County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Round-up event will be taking place on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9am - 3pm located at the 1300 block of Bridge Gate Drive in the Gateway Corporate Center. This event allows residents a safe and cost-free way to dispose of unwanted household waste that cannot be disposed of in the regular trash. Items that may be collected include: motor oil, antifreeze, paint, pesticides, household and car batteries, old computers or television sets, sharps or used needles, and other selected items that require proper disposing. For additional information, please visit www.888cleanla.com or call 888-CLEAN-LA.

The City Council welcomes your comments, concerns, or questions. You can reach me or any other Council Member by calling (909) 839-7010 or by using the links to our email addresses located on the City Council Members pages of the City website. We look forward to hearing from you.
