City Seeks Volunteer Award Nominations
Know someone who has made a positive difference in the community this past year? Here is your opportunity to honor them!

The City is now accepting nominations for its 2022 Outstanding Volunteer Awards Program, and needs your help in identifying deserving individuals, community organizations, or businesses.

Your nominee(s) can be a family member, friend, neighbor, classmate, or anyone else you have witnessed consistently performing good deeds or acts of kindness. It can also be a community organization or a local business that is giving back to the community.

There are four award categories – Youth (age 17 and younger), Adult (Age 18 and older), Community Organization, and Business. Nominees selected for recognition will be awarded certificates by the City Council and other elected officials on Saturday, December 10 as part of the City’s Winter Snow Fest festivities.

Nominations will be accepted until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10. The nomination form and additional details are available on the City’s website at https://www.diamondbarca.gov/447/Volunteer-Recognition

On Tuesday, October 19, a design kickoff meeting was held with the selected consultant, Tait and Associates, to begin the design. The anticipated project schedule is:
