Music By the Sea this Friday – Cellist Max Beitan and Pianist Jacopo Giacopuzzi

Winner of five Grand Prix awards and 15 international competitions, Latvian cellist Max Beitan made his international debut at the age of eight. His collaboration with the cello has been described as belcanto as his synthesis with the instrument is expressed as what seems like singing. As a soloist and chamber musician, Italian pianist Jacopo Giacopuzzi is a winner of 14 international competitions. He has performed throughout the US and Europe, and he continues annual engagements with the iPalpiti festival in Los Angeles, Pianofest in the Hamptons and the Maui Chamber Music Festival in Hawaii.

Art Night This Saturday

Enjoy an evening of visual art and live music as Encinitas civic art spaces and local art galleries swing open their doors at Art Night Encinitas. The event celebrates the city’s diverse visual art scene at participating venues and is free to the public. Meet local artists and fellow art lovers while enjoying a variety of artwork, art demos, artist talks, live music and light refreshments at several locations. Free shuttle service provided. Development Services Department
The last day to submit for permits through the Customer Self-Service (CSS) portal before the City’s December holiday closure is Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. No new permit submittals will be accepted during the City Holiday closure. The new 2022 Building/Fire Codes will go into effect on Jan 1, 2023.

MyEncinitas App – Available Now!

The MyEncinitas App is a digital portal that allows users to obtain information related to City services and request assistance. Through the app, residents can find online information, report an issue, learn about City projects and more.
