Update: Brush Pick-Up Event

We are aware that several community members have been asking, "When is this tree limb pick-up event going to happen?", and we hope to have that information to you as soon as possible!

The City of Fair Oaks Ranch is currently negotiating the terms of a contract with Republic Services to get this event coordinated and scheduled. Events of this size and magnitude require several steps in planning, processing, and getting the needed approvals to bring this to our residents, so we appreciate your patience. Just know that we are working through the process as quickly as possible to make this event happen for you!

We are coordinating all of the details with Republic Services to ensure that we continue to be good stewards of City funds, and as soon as we have concrete information to provide to you all, we will let you know!

AquaHawk Monitoring Update as of 4:15 pm, February 8, 2023.

Connectivity issues caused by the recent ice storm resulted in the City's AquaHawk monitoring system losing transmission capabilities on February 1, 2023.

The City of Fair Oaks Ranch was made aware on February 1, 2023, that City servers were affected by power outages due to the ice storm. Once our servers were back up and online these outages continued to create connectivity issues with the City's water monitoring system AquaHawk that prevented meter reading data from being transmitted. The individual meters themselves were working fine and recording all usage, but we found that the program was not transmitting data out to the external monitoring system.

Fortunately, our Information Technology (IT) team members have been working diligently with our product and server vendors to troubleshoot the connectivity issues and were able to get this system back online and transmitting data as of today, February 8, 2023.

We are still currently waiting for AquaHawk to process the data between February 1st and February 7th for residents to view their usage. We are excited that the system is once again processing information for our residents and we thank each of you for your patience.

Please know that our team is continuing to work with AquaHawk to upload those missing days' worth of data, but we are happy to announce that this will be resolved as soon as possible!
