The City of Fair Oaks Ranch Mayor and City Council are excited to invite all residents for a community Town Hall about the future of transportation. The Town Hall will take place on January 24, 2023, beginning at 6:30 PM.

City Council will lead discussions on important transportation-related topics, including:

Master Transportation Plan & Policies

-Capital Improvements Plan: 

-Road Condition Analysis

-Rehabilitation Projects

-Ammann Road

-Post Oak Trail

-Dietz Elkhorn

-Regional Development and Local Impact

-Traffic Impact

-FM 3351 Expansion

-IH-10 Expansion

The Town Hall will also feature a discussion station with the Texas Department of Transportation.  If you have questions or ideas about the future of transportation or want more information on planned projects, we hope you'll come out and let City Council hear from you.

State of the City

Mark your calendars to join Mayor Maxton and Council on February 15, 2023, for the State of the City presentation and dinner! The State of the City is an annual presentation that provides residents an update on where we are now, how we got there and what our plans are for the future of Fair Oaks Ranch. 

Tickets for the event are $10 per person. Ticket price includes admission to the presentation and a buffet-style dinner! Residents can purchase tickets at City Hall or by calling 210-698-0900.

"Purple Heart City" Street Signs Unveiled!

On January 20, the City of Fair Oaks Ranch officially unveiled new "Purple Heart City" street signage!  

Thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of the ceremony. We are deeply honored to share this moment with veterans from VFW Post 688, American Legion Post 313, and recipients of the Purple Heart Military Award from the Alamo Chapter 1836 Military Order of the Purple Heart.

The City of Fair Oaks Ranch is extremely proud of its designation as a Purple Heart City. As a part of the Purple Heart Trail, we hope the new signs helps you take pause and remember those who have served our nation.

Bulk and Brush Pickup *NEW PROCEDURE*

The City of Fair Oaks Ranch curbside bulk/brush pickup will occur January 9th - January 27th, 2023. The collection will be picked up in SECTORS, as identified below. Items must be put out at the curb (not on city streets) no later than 11:59 p.m. before your pickup start date.

NEW PROCEDURE Bulk and Brush piles are to be combined into one pile. Pile may not exceed 15'L x 6'W x 6'H and is to be placed away from obstructions: fences, mailboxes, water meters, low-hanging tree limbs, etc.

Sector 1: All residential homes south of Dietz Elkhorn (does not include homes on Dietz Elkhorn)

Sector 2: All residential homes between Cibolo Creek and Dietz Elkhorn (includes Dietz Elkhorn)

Sector 3: All residential homes north of Cibolo Creek (includes Deer Meadow Estates)

City Hall Renovation Update

The entrance to City Hall has been temporarily relocated to the portable office building on the City Hall campus. Directional signs are in place to guide you. 

Visitors will need to use this entrance for permits, payments, or other services. The payment dropbox will remain at its current location.
