Fairfield's Going Digital!
The City of Fairfield will be creating a digital inventory of infrastructure in the public right-of-way to better maintain, repair and improve everything from street signs, parking meters, traffic lights and pedestrian signals.

The project will start in early October and will use camera-equipped cars to record a high-definition, three-dimensional map of the City’s infrastructure assets. You may see cars from the vendor, Cyclomedia, on city streets through mid-December.

Village 360/Backroad Vines
There's a hidden spot at the outskirts of Fairfield and it's bound to become a favorite, Village 360. Owner Jody Anselmo sat down to tell us a little more about what it is, how it came about, and what the word "village" means to them.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.
