Fairfield Councilmember Doriss Panduro presented the “Extra Mile Day” proclamation to Volunteer Coordinator Karen Rees at City Council meeting on November 1, 2022, thanking her for coordinating the Adopt-A-Street, Adopt-A-Park, and Volunteer Services programs. Fairfield volunteers always “go the extra mile” and help support the City’s many programs and special events.

Vice Mayor Rick Vaccaro read Resolution 2022-291, of the City Council supporting and proclaiming November 13-19, 2022, “United Against Hate Week” in Fairfield. He stated, “Hate has no place in Fairfield, and diversity is our strength.” The resolution passed unanimously.

The next City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Council Chamber at City Hall at 1000 Webster Street. It can also be viewed on Channel 26 or live streamed.
