From: City of FairfieldCool off at one of the libraries, even on Labor Day!
Solano County Public Libraries are available as cooling centers during normal operating hours. These locations do not allow pets. For locations and hours see below or visit www.solanolibrary.com.
In addition, to help cope with the high temperatures in the coming days, three library cooling centers will also open on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Cool off at:
Dixon Library, 230 N. 1st Street
Fairfield Civic Center Library, 1150 Kentucky Street
Rio Vista Library, 44 S. Second Street
And Three Oaks Community Center in Vacaville, 1100 Alamo Drive, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 4, through Wednesday, September 7.
