City crafts new public-private partnership with Rollertown Beerworks

The City of Frisco is a step closer to approving a new public-private partnership with a brewery production facility which, city leaders believe, will pour tourism dollars into its historic downtown.  Tuesday night, the Frisco City Council unanimously approved a Master Development Agreement, Lease and Performance Agreement with Rollertown Beerworks. The City of Frisco is tapping its Economic and Community Development Corporations (FEDC/FCDC) to invest in the proposed project, too. The FEDC Board approved the contract Wednesday night. The FCDC Board will vote on its agreement tonight.

Under the proposed agreement, the facility would be located on about 2.6 acres of city-owned property adjacent to the downtown silos. It's proposed to span at least 24,000 square feet and include production operations, as well as a restaurant, event lawn with artificial turf, a stage / pavilion and a two-level tap and tasting room with a rooftop experience and beer garden. Read more about this partnership.

Holiday Hours: In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Frisco administrative offices at City Hall and the Municipal Court will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. Regular hours resume Monday, November 28. Other city facilities' holiday hours are available on our website

Weekly Curbside Collection Schedule: On Thanksgiving Day, Waste Connections will not pick up. Instead, Thursday collection moves to Friday, and then Friday pick-up moves to Saturday. Collection on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will not be affected.
