Evenings in Olde Towne Series Returns to City Hall Concert Pavilion

Concert Series Kicks Off with Soul Crackers on June 2

Gaithersburg, MD –  End the day on a musical note with Evenings in Olde Towne. The free, family-friendly concert series returns to the City Hall Concert Pavilion on Thursdays in June, July and September. All concerts take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Wind down the workday with great music in a casual, outdoor setting. Grab some local carryout to enjoy during the concert, or enjoy the music before dining in Olde Towne afterwards. Bring a blanket or low-back chair for lawn seating.

June 9   Chasing Autumn (Pop/Rock)

June 16    Ron Holloway Band (Saxophone Driven Funk Band)

June 23   The Sidleys (Indie Rock & Soul)

June 30    Brent & Company Band (Rock/Country/Reggae/Pop)

July 7   The Breakaways (Alternative Rock, Pop Covers & Original Songs)

July 14    Moxie Blues Band (Blues)

July 21   Juliet Lloyd Band (Pock Rock & Soul)

July 28    Billy “T” Wilde Band (American Classic & Southern Rock)

September 8   Quimbao Latin Band (Latin)

September 15  Pebble to Pearl (Funk/Rock/Blues)

Enjoy outdoor entertainment and activities all summer long at the Concert Pavilion. Heat up your exercise routine as you dance to the Latin rhythms of Zumba on Friday evenings through September 2. Experience uplifting Gospel music at the 16th Annual Jubilation Day Gospel Extravaganza on June 11. Children’s Concerts delight parents and kids on Wednesday mornings in June and July. And, check out Olde Towne Plaza, with a fun interactive water feature to splash around in. It’s just a block away at the corner of S. Summit and E. Diamond Avenues.

Parking in Olde Towne is free. Limited spaces are available at City Hall, the upper parking lot by Wells/Robertson House and at the Community Museum across the train tracks. Limited free parking is also available in the Parking Garage located across Summit Avenue at 112 Olde Towne Avenue. A list of additional short-term parking locations in Olde Towne can be found here.
