From: City Of Gaithersburg

Gaithersburg, MD (May 10, 2022) The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works announces that routine maintenance work will be conducted in the Olde Towne Parking Garage at 112 Olde Towne Avenue. The work will consist of concrete deck sealing and restriping of parking space lines. The work is anticipated to begin in June and continue through September, weather permitting.

Limited parking will be available during the duration of this project. Some drive aisles will be temporarily shifted and up to one entrance will be closed. Reserved tenant parking will be relocated to a designated area within the garage. Due to the extensive area that will be covered and the nature of this “rolling working site,” progress will be variable and subject to weather conditions. The City is unable to confirm exact dates of work being done on each level of the garage.

No Parking” signs will be posted at least 48 hours in advance of construction activity. These signs will be marked with the dates and times of the parking restrictions.  If you plan to be away from your home for any length of time during this period, please make arrangements to have your vehicles parked elsewhere.

A list of additional parking in Olde Towne can be found here.

Work will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.  For more information and status updates please visit www.gaithersburgmd.gov or contact the Department of Public Works at 301-258-6370 or e-mail [email protected].
