Gaithersburg, MD – (September 15, 2022) The Gaithersburg Arts Barn hosts the Manhattan Short Film Festival, featuring ten short films that the audience will view and vote on. Screenings take place Wednesday through Friday, September 28 through 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $15 in advance, $18 day of event. Films are appropriate for ages 17+. Purchase tickets online here.

More than 100,000 film lovers will unite in 500+ cities across six continents to view and vote on the finalists in the 25th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival.

As an audience member, you are the judge of the Finalist Films. Upon entry to the Arts Barn theatre, you’ll be handed a Voting Card and an Official Program and asked to vote for the ONE film and the ONE actor you feel should win. Votes are tallied and e-mailed to the Manhattan Short NYC headquarters. Every short film selected will automatically become qualified for the Oscars of 2023.
