City Of Galveston News Ball High Homecoming Parade This Wednesday

The Tors will continue their homecoming celebrations this Wednesday, October 12, with a parade through midtown. The Ball High School Homecoming Parade will begin Wednesday at 5 p.m. and is expected to finish by 7 p.m.

Floats will begin lining up at 3:30 p.m. The parade will line-up on Avenue P between 41st and 45th Street, as well as 41st and 43rd Streets between Avenue O and Avenue Q.

At 5 p.m., the parade will begin its route along 41st Street and Avenue P, proceeding east to 39th Street before turning south and heading toward Seawall Blvd. The parade will then proceed east along Seawall to 35th Street, turning north and taking 35th Street to Avenue O before returning west on Avenue O to the high school.

There will be rolling road closures along the parade route, with streets and intersections reopening as the final parade participant passes. 

The public is welcome to join as spectators along the route and cheer on the Tors.
