The 14th Annual Yaga’s Chili Quest and Beer Fest is coming up next weekend with associated road closures for residents and visitors to be aware of as they navigate the island. The event will take place Friday, January 20, and Saturday, January 21.

Cooking teams will begin setting up on Saturday at 6 a.m. with cook time to begin at 8 a.m. There will be a 5K race along the Seawall (no road closures associated) beginning at 9 a.m. Vendors booth and other activities will open downtown around 10 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m.

There will be road closures downtown along the Strand from 24th Street to 22nd Street and along 23rd Street from Harborside Drive to Mechanic. Please visit www.yagaschiliquest.com for information.
