Fruit tree pruning demonstration at Family Park

A free fruit tree pruning demonstration will be held from 1 – 2 p.m. on March 15, 2023, at the new apple and pear trees area at Family Park, 215 Family Park Road. 

Leading the demonstration will be City of Hot Springs Urban Forester Allen Bates and Garland County Horticulture Cooperative Extension Agent Luke Duffle. Although the demonstrations will take place on the apple and pear trees, Bates and Duffle will answer questions about pruning any species of trees.
