From: City Of Hot SpringsResponds to citizen requests and complaints concerning address regulations and requirements; compares legal descriptions contained in records to verify factors such as parcel number and boundaries. Creates Reports for permits management and other software modules. Prepares packets for Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and Historic District Commission. Maintains and updates accurate / compliant records and files. Reviews site plans. Reviews and issues street names for new developments. Routinely confers with law enforcement, communication companies, utilities, and emergency services. Clarifies discrepancies and provides information. Acts to resolve inter-agency problems with courtesy and accuracy. Provides back-up to Short-term Rental Coordinator, Office Administrator, Permit Clerks, Planners and Inspectors as needs dictate.
Qualifications
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
DRUG TESTING: All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug testing; individual in this position will be subject to random drug & alcohol testing.
