Operates assigned equipment (sweeper, tractor, bushhog, chipper, flusher, vac-all, roller, distributor, bulldozer, loader, backhoe, grader, etc.) in the performance of duties related to the maintenance and construction of various public works projects and activities; inspects equipment and makes minor adjustments or refers to Fleet Services for service; rotates among various pieces of equipment as required; performs unskilled to semi-skilled labor tasks during slack or seasonal periods or as required by workload; performs related work as required.
Applicant must possess a valid Class A CDL, preferably with Tanker endorsement and a clean driving record.
