Mid-Cities "Sizzlin' Summer" Arts and Crafts Show

The Mid-Cities "Sizzlin' Summer" Arts & Craft Show is sure to please. This indoor show will have a variety of vendors displaying their unique work; everything from hand-made accessories to glass and woodworking art.

Admission and parking are free.

Citizen Emergency Response Team - Training Announcement
Hurst CERT and the Bedford Citizen Corps Council (BCCC) will be sponsoring a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training class starting on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

The CERT program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. The training is open to anyone 18 years of older who lives or works in Hurst or Bedford. There is no charge for the training.

July 26 City Council Meeting 

City Council will be meeting on July 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Hurst City Hall. Agendas are posted the Friday before each meeting by 4 p.m.

Summer Reading Club Closing Party/Sounds of Hurst Presents: Tejas Dance
Help us celebrate the end of summer with games and dancing! There will be free snow cones and lawn games in the library from 6-7 p.m. in the library lobby on Thursday July 28. After the games, join us in program room north/south for a demonstration of Bharatanatyam by Indian dance troupe Tejas Dance at 7 p.m.
