The filing deadline for Councilmember candidates for the November 8, 2022, general municipal election is hereby extended to Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. with the La Quinta City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 78495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta.

The five (5)-day extension is pursuant to California Election Code § 10225 whereby if an incumbent does not file by the initial deadline, the nomination period for that office position only is extended by five (5) additional calendar days.
