Little Monarchs – Join us for six weeks of fun filled activities at the new Crown Valley Community Center. Your young camper will participate in fun and engaging themed crafts, games, circle time, and outdoor exploration.

Ages:              3 - 5 yrs (All campers must be potty-trained)

Hours:             Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm

Crown Valley Knights – Join us this summer for nine exciting weeks of camp at Crown Valley Community Center! Each week is filled with four days of onsite fun and one weekly offsite excursion.

Grades:           Entering 1^st Grade – Entering 5^th Grade

Ages:              6-10 yrs

Hours:             Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm

Youth Committee - Vacancies!

Are you or do you know a high school student living in Laguna Niguel with a GPA of 2.25 or higher? 

Do you like being involved in your community and working with other high school students to make a positive impact in your home city?

Do you want to be a part of the decision-making process to review and recommend new teen recreation programs and events, and plan recreation programs during the year? 

Then don’t wait – fill out an application for the Youth Committee today!

The City is now accepting applications from qualified candidates for vacancies on the Youth Committee. Completed applications are to be submitted via email to [email protected] or in person at City Hall.

Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center

Revised Schedule in effect through June 13

The Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center has seasonally paused the weekend swim schedule.

Saturday hours will include Adult Lap swim from 9am-12pm, only. All Sunday activities are currently on pause.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our loyal swimmers and we appreciate your understanding at this time, and look forward to resuming regular operating hours on June 13.

Blue Gates Best Trick

Saturday, April 30, 12pm - 4pm

Cost - $10 for annual pass holders

$20 for non-pass holders

Join us at the Laguna Niguel Skate Park for our annual Blue Gates Best trick event!

This event includes best trick contests on various obstacles in the Skate Park. Activities include games, food, prizes, giveaways, and raffles. Registration includes participation in best trick competitions, a food voucher, and a raffle.

Contest entry is $10 for annual pass holders and $20 for non-pass holders through April 29.

National Ride Your Bike Day

Sunday, May 1 @ 10am

FREE

Join us on National Ride Your Bike Day for a group ride on the Salt Creek Trail! The event will include a 3.75 mile staff led group ride and a how to change a flat tire clinic.

Please bring your bike, helmet, sunscreen, and plan to be out for 2-3 hours. Water and snacks provided. All bikes are welcome, including E-Bikes. Please refer to Laguna Niguel's E-Bike guidelines on the City website for authorized classes of e-bikes.

Jurassic Trails and Tales

Jurassic Trails and Tales tickets are now available for purchase at Crown Valley Community Center during normal operating hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Take a step back through time and experience a wild adventure at Crown Valley Park. You don't want to miss this opportunity to visit the Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Velociraptor, and T-Rex in their natural environment. Be sure to check out our prehistoric crafts, activities, and entertainment. Food will be available for purchase on site.

Everyone walking the trail two years and older will need an entrance ticket. A One-Time Only Entrance Ticket is available for $10 per person, or you can purchase an unlimited entrance wristband for $15 per person.

National Pizza Party Day

Family Astronomy Night

Science Heads will be at Crown Valley Park for a Family Astronomy Night! We will be hosting astronomy-related science stations, including Eclipse on the Wall, Twinkle Stars, Sunset in a Glass Dish, Pie Plate Solar System, and a revised Constellation Identification station.

Science Heads' mobile observatory and telescopes will be open for public viewing.

Mountain Bike Group Ride

Meet us at the Chapparosa Park Basketball Courts on Saturday, May 28th at 9:00am for a (more) experienced staff led group ride.

Trail will consist of portions of the Colinas Bluff, Longview, and Salt Creek trails. Please bring your bike, helmet, sunscreen, and plan to be out for 2-3 hours. Water and snacks provided.

Meet & Greet the Goats at Crown Valley Park, from 11am-4pm. This FREE event will give you time to visit the goats in their pen, meet firefighters and learn about wildfire suppression.

Meet Mission Viejo Animal Services to learn how to prepare for your pet, in the event of a wildfire. No pre-registration required.

Summer Concert Series return June 10!

The Laguna Niguel Summer Concert Series returns on Friday, June 10! Start warming up those dance moves and come sing and dance to your favorite tunes! Chairs and blankets may be placed out starting at 6am on concert days.

All concerts will take place at the Crown Valley Park Amphitheater at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway starting at 6:30pm. (Note: The 4^th of July concert will start at 6pm.) Check out this year’s line-up:
