Plan Ahead: Find Your Voting Center

L.A. County Vote Centers provide everything you need to vote in the 2022 General Election, including accessible voting equipment, language services, and they also serve as a Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box location. Voting early is the fastest and simplest way to make your voice heard. Make your plan to vote today, and vote for the future you want.

Lomita Park will host a 4-day voting center. Click here to find other voting centers near you. You can vote in person or drop off your Vote by Mail ballot at any Vote Center in LA County.

School Zone Safety Is Important

Although at the time it may seem jaywalking will not have an effect if done correctly, it is important to remember that accidents occur. A concerning number of adults and students have been observed jaywalking around schools. School administrators, the City of Lomita and Lomita Sheriff would like to urge every parent to use crosswalks to avoid needless and tragic accidents. Drivers may not see children when they jaywalk between traffic and a vehicle may be traveling too fast to stop for a jaywalker.

By using crosswalks, you are teaching your children respect and good habits that will benefit them their entire lives. Crossing guards are there to help keep drivers and pedestrians safe.
