Public Safety Responds to Medical Emergency

Mankato-Public Safety responded to a medical emergency situation that occurred in the overflow parking lot off of Pleasant Street near West High School, 1351 South Riverfront Drive. The high school was placed on a soft lockdown so that Public Safety and emergency medical personnel could provide services. Once the scene was cleared, the soft lockdown was lifted.  

The individual was transported to the local hospital by ambulance. No further information is available at this time.
