Magical Bridge Playground – Grand Opening Celebration

Join us for the Grand Opening of the Magical Bridge Morgan Hill Playground this Saturday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m. The Magical Bridge Playground is located in Community Park at 171 W. Edmundson Avenue, Morgan Hill. This event will be a celebration of the many residents, businesses, and organizations that have helped make this project a reality. Remarks and Ribbon Cutting begin at 10:00 a.m. This is the official opening of the playground with activities and performances into the afternoon. Traffic Delays or Closures in the Weeks Ahead:

Hale Avenue Extension Project

At Spring Avenue and DeWitt Avenue, PG & E will be undergrounding overhead electric lines and removing poles. Traffic control devices will be in place periodically while needed to accomplish the work.

Del Monte Avenue between Dunne and Ciolino Avenue

Del Monte Avenue between Dunne and Ciolino Avenue will be closed through November. Traffic control will be in place for the installation of a new water line and then to construct the double box culvert.-Construction Traffic on West Jarvis between Monday, May 30th & Tuesday, June 14th

Please note that there will be construction traffic on West Jarvis Drive between Monday, May 30th and Tuesday, June 14th due to the Sutter extension slurry seal project.

-One-Lane Traffic on Condit Road near Chrysler Dealership

Condit Road will have one-lane traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic controls will be in place. It is anticipated that one-lane traffic will be in place for several weeks.

-East Dunne Water Main Project

Approximately 90 feet of water main will be installed at East Dunne Avenue near Flaming Oaks Lane.   Traffic controls are in place Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The work will take approximately 10 working days.
