Actions taken by the City Council Regular meeting on December 21, 2022 include:

-Ratified Resolution No. 21-029 Emergency Teleconferencing authorizing remote teleconference meetings of all City legislative bodies for the following 30 days in accord with the Ralph M. Brown Act

-Approved Minutes of the December 7, 2022 City Council Special and Regular Meetings

-Received Check Register report - November 2022

-Received Core Revenue Report for November 2022

-Received report of emergency directives/modifications

-Authorized the Mayor to sign a legal services agreement with Renee Public Law Group

-Authorized the Mayor to sign an agreement with Renee Public Management Group

-Received Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Meeting Minutes: November 14, 2022

-Received Planning Commission Meeting Minutes: September 1, 2022

-Directed Staff to return to City Council with a Request for Qualifications for consultant services to assist with the proposed Local Coastal Program amendments and corrections.

-Directed Staff to return to City Council with a comprehensive report describing the use of Community Service Officers to provide wildlife protection and code enforcement services throughout the entire city.

-Directed the Beautification and Natural Resources Commission to form a standing Wildlife Subcommittee that will provide guidance and oversight regarding wildlife protection issues and code enforcement efforts throughout the entire city

-Received recommendations from Traffic Safety and Planning Commissions

-Received Proposed Draft Parklet Program Manual and provide feedback

-Provided direction to City staff to move forward with a program based on Title 15, Encroachment Permits, and Director of Public Works approval

-Authorized the City Manager to award a purchase order with Premier Chevrolet of Seaside for the purchase of (1) 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Vehicle in an amount not-to-exceed $76,500

The agenda reports and supporting documents for all these actions are on the City’s website.  Details of the actions taken will also be available, upon completion and adoption of the meeting minutes, which will also be posted on the website.

The next Regular City Council Meeting is scheduled for January 18, 2023.
