Adopted a resolution granting consent to the City of Monterey to renew the Monterey County Tourism Improvement District (“MCTID”) and include the City of Pacific Grove in the MCTID
Approved the Proposed Amendment of Resolution 22-048, Authorizing Examination of Sales or Transactions and Use Tax Records
Received Second Quarter Treasurer’s Quarterly Report – Fiscal Year 2022-23
Received Second Quarter 22/23 Workers' Compensation Report
Received Second Quarter Budget Report
Received Second Quarter Purchase Order Report
Received staff report regarding Code Compliance program and short term rental enforcement update
Received and filed Agenda Report on Teleconference Rules for attendance at meetings of legislative bodies
Received the 2022 Planning Commission Annual Report
Received report of emergency directives/modifications
Authorized an agreement with Monterey Peninsula Engineering for the Del Monte Blvd Storm Drain Improvements Project in an amount not to exceed $227,125 plus a 15% contingency
Authorized the Mayor to sign an agreement with the Matrix Consulting Group for comprehensive fee study, development impact fees, and/or a cost allocation plan, in an amount not to exceed $67,890
Approved the proposed contract amendment with Rincon Consultants, Inc. relating to a development project located at 1661 Sunset Drive based on a contract time extension

Received Planning Commission Meeting Minutes: September 8, October 13, November 10, and December 8, 2022
Scope of Public Comments at Meetings of Legislative Bodies-
Requested a reading of title of Ordinance;
Waived further reading and introduced first reading of  an ordinance amending Pacific Grove Municipal Code Section 2.04.050 regarding Public Comment; and
Adopted proposed amendment to Council Policy 000-017 Order of Agenda for Council Meetings
Climate Action and Adaptation Planning-
Requested that the City Council prioritize and initiate Climate Action and Adaptation Planning in 2023 tied to Council goals.
Seek the services of a consultant to develop and produce a Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.
Established a Council subcommittee on Climate Action and Adaptation Planning comprised of Councilmembers Coletti, McDonnell, and Poduri.
 Reviewed alternates to other regional agency/association with unfilled alternate representatives and appointed Councilmember Amelio as alternate for TAMC.
Discussed and appointed a City Council Goals ad hoc subcommittee through April 2023 comprised of Mayor Peake and Councilmembers Coletti and McDonnell to assist Council with finalizing goal language and establishing goal priorities
Directed the City Attorney to prepare a resolution amending Council Policy 000-5 to implement the proposed amendment.
Received a presentation of the City's New Transparency Software

The next Regular City Council Meeting is scheduled for February 15, 2023.
The Mayor's State of the City is scheduled for February 22, 2023.
