Water Rate Hearing

The City of Paso Robles is proposing to gradually phase in water rate adjustments over the next five years to support water system operating and maintenance expenses, fund the City’s share of debt service for the Nacimiento Water Project, and provide funding for capital improvements needed to support safe and reliable service.  All City water customers are receiving notices in the mail to announce a public hearing on the proposed water rate increases on December 20th, 2022 at 6:30 pm. More information

Committee Openings

The City of Paso Robles is now accepting applications for appointment to fill vacancies on three commissions:

-Planning Commission

-Supplemental Sales Tax Oversight Committee

-Housing Authority Board of Commissioners

Spaceport Initiative Moves Forward

On December 6, the Paso Robles City Council unanimously approved an agreement with Cal Poly to accelerate the City’s pursuit of a spaceport license for the Paso Robles Airport. The City can expect Cal Poly to submit a completed FAA Spaceport License Application by August 31, 2023 and to have a roadmap in place for developing tech and aerospace apprenticeships for students with industry partners by late 2023. The presentation to Council can be viewed HERE.

Paso Robles Partners to Create the Central Coast Military and Civilian Council

Paso Robles Mayor Steve Martin, Mayor Le Barre of King City, and Col. Lamb, Garrison Commander at Fort Hunter Liggett, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a partnership known as the Central Coast Military and Civilian Council (CCMCC) during a ceremony held at Fort Hunter Liggett. More information

New Year's Eve Celebration

The City of Paso Robles is hosting a FREE New Year’s Eve celebration in the downtown City Park that includes a bonfire, band, DJ, fire dancers and more. The celebration runs from 7-11PM. A 9PM ball drop is set to coincide with midnight on the East Coast so attendees can enjoy ringing in the New Year and still be home before midnight. All ages are welcome, there is no charge for admission. More information
