3-Day Watering Schedule

The State of CA adopted regulations requiring urban water suppliers to implement Level 2 demand management measures established in the agency’s Water Shortage Contingency Plan.  The City of Paso Robles does not have or anticipate having an actual water shortage, however, to comply with the State’s requirements the City is implementing Level 2 water demand management measures.  The new restrictions became effective June 10, 2022: More information

Election Nomination Period 

If you would like to run for Paso Robles City Council in the November 8, 2022 election, the initial period for filing Nomination Papers is July 18 through August 12. Paso Robles residents will have the opportunity to vote for two open Councilmember seats (one in District 1 and one in District 2) and for the Mayor.  Candidates must live in the district they're running to represent; the Mayor's position is at-large. Each position serves a four-year term.  More information

Concerts in the Park Have Begun

The popular, family friendly concert series has returned to Downtown City Park for its 21st season! The concerts are held on Thursdays, June 9 through August 18 (no concert July 28), from 6 to 8 PM. Proceeds from the concerts benefit the REC Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to creating enhanced programs, places and open spaces for quality recreational experiences in Paso Robles. More information at prcity.com/concertsinthepark 

Phase 2 of Spaceport License Application Process Approved

On June 7 the Paso Robles City Council approved the next phase of the FAA Spaceport license application process. A Preliminary Technical Review conducted  earlier this year found that establishing a licensed Spaceport operation at the Paso Robles Airport is feasible. The efforts identified in this next phase of work are considered essential for the continued forward progress of the Paso Robles Spaceport project. 

Economic Development Updates

The City of Paso Robles is preparing its first 5-Year Economic Development Strategic Plan. The major objective of this project is to build on the City’s Economic Strategy document originally developed in 2006 and identify long-term economic development strategies, opportunities, and challenges. The Economic Development Strategic Plan will provide the City and community stakeholders with a framework to budget resources and utilize staff capacity to achieve the recommendations of the strategy. 4th of July at Barney Schwartz Park

The City of Paso Robles with Travel Paso is hosting a free 4th of July celebration at Barney Schwartz Park, on Monday, July 4 from 2-10 PM.  The celebration will include family-friendly activities throughout the day, food trucks, a concession stand and will finish off with a fireworks show at around 9:30 PM.  Parking and admission are free and there is also a free RV parking area that opens at 1PM, first come first serve. Bring a picnic but please leave the dogs at home. More information

The next Paso Robles City Council meeting takes place on June 21, 2022 beginning at 6:30 PM. Residents can attend in person or listen live and view the presentations on the City's YouTube channel here.
