Pioneer Day Employee Parking
We are all looking forward to Pioneer Day on Saturday, October 8th! Employee permit parking will be limited that day. 2 lots are available: the Spring Street parking lot near the corner of 13th and Spring and the Train Station lot on Pine Street. The two lots will be posted with employee permit parking only signs and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more about employee parking permits here.
Cannabis Delivery Ordinance
On October 4, City Council will be holding a Public Hearing to for an ordinance to grant temporary authorization to existing medical cannabis delivery businesses to deliver commercial cannabis until a subsequent regulatory cannabis ordinance is established by the City. More info
Fire Department Open House
Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services Department invites residents an Open House at Fire Station 1 at 900 Park Street on Saturday, October 15 from 10AM to 2PM. Tour our fire station, meet our firefighters, observe various demonstrations, learn hands only CPR and enjoy food and drinks provided by the Paso Robles Firefighters Association.
Paso Robles St. Design Charrette
On September 29, the Planning Commission and City staff met to brainstorm how Paso Robles St. might be upgraded to become an improved gateway to the city and revitalized business corridor. Ideas introduced during the charrette include a “Paso Robles” arch at the end of the offramp, traffic calming measures, Class 1 bike trails and more. Public outreach will begin soon, to gather resident and business input prior to seeking City Council approval of the concept. See the notes, pics and drawings
Union/Golden Hill Detours
The intersection at Golden Hill and Union is closed for construction. Please use posted detours only to avoid impacting residential neighborhoods and local businesses. To lessen stress, please plan your route and departure time to account for traffic impacts. More info

Glow-Ga & Glow Dance Party
The vibe of this Glow-Ga experience is celebratory as guests arrive dressed in neon clothing that glows in the black lights that illuminate the space. Enjoy a vinyasa style yoga class followed by a glow in the dark dance party complete with a glow in the dark photo area. Friday, October 7 from 6 to 7:15 pm in the Centennial Park Banquet Room. Beginning Crochet
Students will learn and practice basic crochet stitches including a slip knot, chain, single, and a half double. Learning to crochet has numerous benefits. In addition to the feeling of accomplishment at learning a new skill, the repetitive motion of crocheting has been associated with decreasing stress, calming anxiety, easing depression and helping to keeping the mind sharp.
