City of Springfield staff and Forward SGF Comprehensive Plan consultants Houseal Lavigne Associates will present an update on the plan to City Council at a Thursday workshop, noon-4 p.m. at Ozark Technical Community College’s Lincoln Hall meeting room. The presentation will include an overview and chapter review of the draft plan. 

The workshop is open to the public. A recording of the workshop will be available following the presentation at cityview.springfieldmo.gov and ForwardSGF.com.

Anticipated to wrap up later this summer, Forward SGF represents a visionary roadmap for the next 20 years, guiding land use, housing, economic development, transportation, parks, and more for the City of Springfield. The Comprehensive Plan will be used by City leaders to make decisions and inform a variety of policies that will shape the community for years to come.
