Join Tempe Community Council (TCC) and the City of Tempe for Tempe Human Services Day March 18, a free event for all ages to connect with resources, find volunteer opportunities and have fun.

The family-friendly event will include human services nonprofits, city resources, Kid Fun Zone entertainment, giveaways and music. The event takes place from 9 a.m. – noon at the Tempe Community Complex, 3500 S. Rural Road.

Tempe Human Services Day includes the 5th annual Care Fair Tempe and the Tempe Human Services Pop-Up.

-Care Fair Tempe sponsored by Salt River Project, will feature 50+ local nonprofits, with providers such as Alzheimer’s Association, Child Crisis Arizona and Community Legal Services.

-The Tempe Human Services Pop-up will spotlight the city’s Office of Education, Career and Family Services and Community Health and Human Services and connect those in need to a range of city services.

“Care Fair is a great event that truly captures what we are doing within Tempe Community Council, connecting those in need with those who care,” said Rabbanni Furqaan, TCC board member. “At this event, we do our best to have a great representation of all community agencies and organizations. That way each one of our community members can find the services or programs best needed to assist them.”

All activities will take place outdoors. The community is encouraged to stop by all booths throughout the complex to learn about programs and services that collectively improve the quality of life of individuals and families in Tempe.

“Care Fair on Tempe Human Services Day brings to life TCC’s goal of connecting nonprofit partners and city services to improve community well-being,” said Octavia Harris, TCC executive director. “This is a great opportunity to put collaboration into action and serve our community.”
