Starter Kit Give Away

Last week we had such an overwhelming response to our drive-thru Starter Kit give away that we literally ran out of kits. I’ve re-ordered and we’re ready for Round 2.

Please join us on Friday morning between 9:30am and noon for another Starter Kit give away. The Kits contain plastic bags and informational flyers related to our plastic reuse program. Through this program we are repurposing plastic that will otherwise simply end up in the landfill. The plastic you bring to the program will end up as construction-grade plastic blocks. With them we will build many of the amenities the voters approved through Proposition 407 – parks and connectivity. 

The Plastics Only collection roll off is available at the Ward 6 office 24/7. We at the Ward 6 office, as well as our partners ByFusion, Tank’s Green Stuff and the City of Tucson Environmental Services are thrilled with the outpouring of support for this program and we look forward to seeing you on Friday for the drive-thru.
