FREE FOOD AVAILABLE THIS SUMMER FOR KIDS AND ADULTS - Many school districts, libraries, community organizations, and others will be offering free food to families this summer to make sure they have healthy meals while school is out. Four school districts across the Tucson area (Tucson Unified School District, Amphitheater Public Schools, Sunnyside Unified School District, and Marana Unified School District) receive federal funding to provide breakfast and lunch for all kids 18 and under during summer weekdays. You do not need to be enrolled in these school districts to get food at their sites. Meal program dates and hours vary by location. For more information, follow the link below.

FREE FAMILY FUN NIGHT AT DONNA LIGGINS CENTER - Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting Family Fun Night at the Donna R. Liggins Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave., on Friday, June 24, from 6-8 p.m. This event is free for all ages. There will be food, arts and crafts, and access to the game room, which features billiards, foosball, and ping pong. There also will be board games, video games, and a hotshot basketball tournament with prizes and a raffle. Call the center, (520)791-3247, to reserve your spot. The deadline to register is June 17.

SECOND WEEK BEGINS FOR TUCSON PARKS AND RECREATION TRACK AND FIELD AND ROAD RACES - Tucson Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Summer Track and Field and Road Races every Tuesday and Thursday in June and July. Track and Field events take place at Drachman Stadium, 501 S. Plumer Ave., every Tuesday, through July 19, beginning at 7 p.m. Road Races take place at various locations every Thursday, through July 21. The cost is $3 per youth (17 years and younger) and $4 per adult (18 years and older). CONNECTING FOR SUCCESS WEBINAR FOR SMALL BUSINESSES NEXT WEEK - The City of Tucson's Office of Economic Initiatives (ConnectTucson) webinar series, "Connecting for Success," is held monthly, featuring a guest speaker, presentation, and Q&A. The next webinar will be Tuesday, June 28, from 3-4 p.m. This month, hear from local business owners on ways to creatively market your business. The presentation will be recorded and posted on the ConnectTucson website the following day. Previous webinars are available to watch on demand.
